It's a real pain to get Mahara to regenerate it's SSL Key, here's how to do it:
1. Open MYSQL tools, and bring up the config table in the Mahara DB
2. Find the following 4 lines and delete their contents. Save changes
3. Enter Mahara and navigate to the networking tab and see if a new key has been created.
If not go back to your MYSQL tool and fill the openssl_history entry with some random numbers, saved changes.
Repeat step 3, you should have a new key.
