You receive an error 0x80244022 when attempting to run Windows Updates.  This is likely due to an issue with your local WSUS server which has been assigned by a GPO.  (See below)

To temporarily bypass this issue, you will need to adjust the following Registry key and reboot, and then retry running updates.

Perform the following:

 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Policies > Microsoft > Windows > WindowsUpdate

Click AU in WindowsUdpate, and find UseWUServer entry and change the value from 1 to 0.  Restart the machine, and attempt Windows Updates again, it should not be functional.
